Memphis
Serving the Children of the World
Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Memphis
at The University Club of Memphis
We meet every Wednesday at noon at The University Club of Memphis, 1346 Central Avenue, Memphis.
We are a service organization dedicated to helping the children of our community and the world. Each year we sponsor dozens of youth so that they may attend summer camp. We support Corning Elementary our Adopt a School. We hold a monthly luncheon at the Memphis Family Shelter.
Our recent meeting (shown above) our program was the Bill McElroy Navy Day with speaker Sr. Chief Tom Jones. The program is named for long-time member Bill McElroy. It is held every year to honor the U.S. Navy's birthday and we host service personnel from Millington.
If you would like to learn more about us, please contact our director Beth Haag at bethhaag@comcast.net.
Our 19th Annual Pancake Breakfast will be held Nov. 10, 2012 from 7 a.m. to noon at Christian Brothers High School, 5900 Walnut Grove. Tickets are $5 at the door. Proceeds support Kiwanis Charities Inc.
